Terms of Use

Version 1 · Effective: July 16, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the hood.fun website and interface (the "Interface"). By accessing or using the Interface you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface.

1. The Interface, not the protocol

hood.fun is a web interface — one of many possible interfaces — for interacting with permissionless smart contracts deployed on Robinhood Chain (the "Protocol"). The Protocol consists of autonomous, immutable smart contracts that execute exactly as written. The Interface does not custody funds, cannot execute transactions on your behalf, cannot reverse transactions, and cannot modify the Protocol. Anyone can interact with the Protocol directly, without the Interface.

2. User-created tokens

Tokens shown on the Interface are created by third-party users of the Protocol, not by hood.fun. hood.fun does not issue, endorse, vet, sponsor, audit, or assume any responsibility for any token, its creators, its content, or its performance. Token names, images, and descriptions are user-submitted content. The appearance of a token on the Interface is not a listing decision, recommendation, or endorsement.

3. No financial, legal, or tax advice; no offering

Nothing on the Interface is investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice, or a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any asset. All information is provided for informational purposes only. We are not your broker, advisor, or fiduciary, and no communication from us establishes such a relationship. You alone are responsible for your decisions.

4. Experimental technology; assumption of risk

Smart contracts, blockchains, wallets, and bridges are experimental technologies. Risks include — without limitation — total loss of funds, smart-contract bugs or exploits, chain halts or reorganizations, RPC or indexer failures, wallet compromise, and irreversibility of transactions. The Protocol's contracts execute exactly as written; there is no undo.

Digital assets are not legal tender, are not backed by any government, and are not covered by deposit insurance or investor protection schemes. They are highly speculative and volatile, may lose all value, and may have no value at the outset. Never commit funds you cannot afford to lose entirely. You accept all of these risks by using the Interface.

5. Community coins and holder rewards

Some tokens launch in "community" mode, in which the creator-fee share generated by the token is directed to that token's holders pro-rata to their holdings, calculated and published autonomously and claimed by holders on-chain. Rewards are variable, depend entirely on trading activity that may never occur, are not guaranteed, and are not interest, yield, dividends, or a promise of profit. Reward calculations are provided on an as-is basis; the on-chain contracts are the source of truth for any amount claimable.

6. Market data, as-is

Prices, market caps, charts, holder maps, volumes, reward estimates, and similar data shown on the Interface are produced by an indexer reading public chain data. This data is provided as-is and without warranty; it may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally incorrect, and may lag the chain. The chain itself is the sole source of truth.

7. Eligibility and prohibited jurisdictions

You may use the Interface only if you are of legal age where you live and only where such use is lawful. You must not use the Interface if you are located in, organized in, or a resident of any jurisdiction where accessing or using the Interface or the Protocol is prohibited or restricted, or if you are subject to economic sanctions (including any list maintained by OFAC or an equivalent authority). You are solely responsible for determining that your use is lawful.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Interface to:

  • violate any law or regulation, including securities, commodities, and AML/CTF laws;
  • launder money, finance terrorism, or evade sanctions;
  • infringe others' intellectual-property, publicity, or privacy rights (including in token names and images);
  • manipulate markets, including wash trading and coordinated deception of other users;
  • impersonate any person or project, or spread malicious content;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to exploit the Interface or its infrastructure.

hood.fun may, at its discretion, hide user-submitted content from the Interface (the Protocol itself is permissionless and outside anyone's control).

9. Fees

The Protocol may apply fees to certain operations, such as launching or trading tokens, according to parameters recorded on-chain (for example trading fees on the bonding curve and pool fees after migration). Blockchain networks additionally charge transaction (gas) fees that we do not control and do not receive. Applicable fees are visible on-chain and, where practical, surfaced in the Interface before you confirm a transaction.

10. Taxes

You are solely responsible for determining what taxes, if any, apply to your transactions (including any rewards you claim), and for reporting and remitting them to the appropriate authorities.

11. Third-party services and links

The Interface may display content from, or link to, third-party services such as block explorers, charting providers, wallets, bridges, and social platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and linking to them does not imply endorsement. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

12. Intellectual property

The hood.fun name, logo, and the design of the Interface are our property or that of our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Interface for its intended purpose. Content supplied by token creators remains their responsibility.

13. No warranty

THE INTERFACE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. hood.fun does not warrant that the Interface will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any data it displays is accurate or complete.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL HOOD.FUN, ITS CONTRIBUTORS, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DIGITAL ASSETS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE INTERFACE OR THE PROTOCOL — INCLUDING LOSSES CAUSED BY SMART-CONTRACT BEHAVIOR, THIRD-PARTY TOKENS, OR DATA INACCURACY — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE INTERFACE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless hood.fun, its contributors, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Interface, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

16. Changes; termination

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date and version. When the version changes you will be asked to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Interface; continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement. We may suspend or discontinue the Interface at any time. Sections 3, 4, and 13–15 survive termination.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be raised at contact@hood.fun or through our official channels linked in the footer of the Interface.

Summary (not a substitute for the Terms): hood.fun is an interface, tokens are made by users, nothing here is advice, everything on-chain is final, and you should never risk more than you can afford to lose.
